Just how serious are things getting between Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart? The pair vacationed together this week in Hawaii… along with J. Lo’s three-year old twins!
The 24-year old backup dancer was “great” with the children, an insider tells Us Weekly, detailing how he “was twirling them around and doing flips with Emme and she seemed very comfortable with him,” while “Jennifer got a chance to sit back and relax while Casper took over and played.”
Lopez came under pretty heavy fire this week by shilling so hard for Fiat during her American Music Awards that even Kim Kardashian referred to it “too much.” Okay, not really. But John Legend called out his fellow artist.
But Jennifer’s personal life is going a lot smoother. Following the AMAs, witnesses spotted Lopez “grinding in Smart’s lap, giving him a kiss and rubbing his head” at Greystone Manor in West Hollywood. He’s a lucky fella.
The good news for Michael Lohan? He managed to NOT get arrested last night.
The bad news? He was rushed to the hospital with heart problems and will undergo surgery today.
Lohan reportedly complained of chest pains while residing in a Florida treatment and, following a blood pressure reading of 200/110, was immediately taken to the hospital.
Doctors found a blood clot in one of Lindsay’s awful father’s lungs and will insert a stent into his heart this afternoon. Lohan also had surgery in February to fix an artery blockage.
We wish Michael a full recovery, we suppose.

Dr. Conrad Murray will be sentenced next Tuesday, and how much jail time he serves will depend on what a judge decides after hearing arguments from both the defense and prosecution – which will be poles apart as you might expect.
The D.A. wants Michael Jackson’s former personal physician to spend the maximum possible four years in prison for his involuntary manslaughter conviction.
Meanwhile, defense attorneys asked that he only receive probation.
Prosecutors David Walgren and Deborah Brazil told Judge Michael Pastor that Murray showed no remorse for Jackson’s death and has blamed others instead.
Moreover, he chose to slander the King of Pop both at trial and in the documentary he filmed during it, making a lenient sentence for the doctor inexcusable.
The film does not portray MJ flatteringly. In one interview for it, Dr. Conrad Murray actually says, “I don’t feel guilty because I did not do anything wrong.”

Labeled an “artistic genius” by Tony Bennett, Lady Gaga took over ABC for 90 minutes last night, airing a unique special that featured eight songs; a dish of fried waffles; a visit to the singer’s Manhattan alma mater; an interview with Katie Couric; and a reunion with an influential nun.
Gaga also teamed with Bennett on a version of “The Lady is a Tramp,” while giving viewers a sneak peek at her upcoming music video for “Marry the Night.” We’ve posted both below. Enjoy!

On January 22, Fox will premiere the 11th season of American Idol, previewing the competition to come in a new trailer that depicts more than just the three judges walking along the street.

On the first two days in which Breaking Dawn was matched up against Kermit the Frog and company, the second-to-last installment of The Twilight Saga outearned Jason Segel’s version of The Muppets at the box office.
Breaking Dawn brought in $7.8 million yesterday, on top of $12.5 million on Wednesday; The Muppets, meanwhile, opened with a $6.6 million take and followed it up with $5.9 on turkey day.
We’ll see how each fares over the actual weekend, but Breaking Dawn has now surpassed $200 million in domestic earnings already. Who knew the franchise was so darn popular? Oh, right. Everybody.

As Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar plan to welcome their 20th child next year, their recent trip to Israel brought more medical duress for their 19th, Josie-Brooklyn.
Next week’s season finale episode of the soon-to-be-renamed 19 Kids and Counting shows Josie rushed to the hospital during the family vacation, in dire straits.
She was “congested” says Jim Bob, as Josie cried in the hospital.
As the little girl struggles, the rest of the family must decide if they’re going to continue their trip around the country they traveled so far to visit as a group.

The singer – who suffered a miscarriage in both 2008 and 2010 – and husband Sam Cooper welcomed a son today, as Allen expressed her feelings on the matter in via a simple Tweet: “Totes Amaze.”
Cooper proposed to Allen on Christmas Day 2010. They got married in June and we couldn’t be happier for the new family!
